South Africa Group Trip: 2010

Our 9 person group trip to South Africa was fabulous.  More pictures to come.

We started off touring Pretoria and than to the Lesedi Cultural Village.

The next day we went to the Apartheid Museum, Hector Pieterson Museum/Memorial, Mandela's Home and Soweto Tour.  No photography is allowed in either of the museums.

We went on Safari to the Pilanesburg Game Reserve

We than flew to Durban and went to Shakaland for the Zulu Tour

We than flew to Cape Town and did the Cap Point Tour.  Great views of Table Mountain. and the surrounding areas.

The Ugandan Orphans Choir brings a message of hope to American audiences through the traditional rhythmic dances and songs of Africa. The choir performs in colorful African costumes and sings both sacred and secular tribal songs from all over Africa accompanied by traditional instruments such as drums and pan pipes. The choir has delighted audiences across the United States and Canada with their sharing of African folklore through music and dance. 

Come and enjoy the music of Africa! Awesome! This is what people all over the United States say when they see The Ugandan Orphans Choir perform. Ugandan children are known for their outstanding musical talents, and these 10 children are delighting audiences with songs and tribal dances from their homeland. The Ugandan Orphans Choir is a ministry of Childcare Worldwide and this is the 5th Choir that has toured in the U.S. Childcare Worldwide has ministered in East Africa and around the globe for over 25 years and has made a difference in the lives of thousands of boys and girls, helping them survive and succeed. Plan to come to a great encounter of “mission in action!”
